Kanban System Design course is a 2-day course that will help you learn about the principles and practices of Kanban Method and apply those principles and practices to improve service delivery and bring about evolution within your organization. You will gain practical insights on understanding your own system of work and design and improve your own system into a Kanban system.

This course is the part 1 of the 2 courses needed to be certified as Kanban Management Program (KMP). This course is also a prerequisite for the Kanban System Improvement course, which is the second part of KMP.

  • Learn the Principles and Practices of the Kanban Method

  • Utilise the Systems Thinking Approach to Introducing Kanban (STATIK) to understand your systems of work and how to design your initial Kanban system
  • Learn the fundamentals of visual board design and card design

Prerequisites

Attendees are expected to have read “Kanban” by David J Anderson or “Kanban from the Inside” by Mike Burrows.
